This painting by Mr. Kefor is touched with an acrylic assort of color. This artist has chosen the name “Still Life”.

The colors in this painting have been chosen very delicately. Around this painting in the background presented an earthy green color. As to the base of the painting shows an earthy orange. As this writer looks at the painting she sees a depressing but yet a beautiful assortments of texture and colors. This painting emphasizes the loneliness of some people. The field is one of the greatest earth tone, a well blend of brown within. The dark colors and the different tone of black is an obvious focal point. The form is as if it was meant for the dark side. To this writer the drooping flower symbolizes weakness. To interpret the painting, the artist was using dark tones. The value of this painting is the amount of dark tones. To this writer the skull represents death. The locked chest represents secrets. The monkey represents hope. The cinder blocks symbolize the strength holding everything together. The graphic of this painting is an outstanding image of a lost soul.

This writer can see someone’s hiding their identity because there afraid to show them to the rest for the world.

Mr. Kefor painted this painting called “Still Life”. It is painted with acrylic paints. It appears to be the still life of skulls and cylinder blocks with flowers and painted canvases in the background. There is also a little brown box and a carved monkey on top of the blocks of cylinder.

In this painting, earth tones are used and there is a dark value. The juxtaposition of the skulls and cylinder blocks create a sense of death or isolation. There is emphasis on the skulls because they are the brightest in the picture. The light is coming from a source at the left causing shadows to be cast at the right. Perhaps the wilting flowers symbolize death or weakness. The mood is dark and the painting is an example of realism.

There is not really an obvious narrative for this picture. It is more like a structure of objects. One might feel lonely or depressed from looking at this. When would there ever be a situation where this combination of objects would be placed like that?

This painting, “Still Life”, was artfully done by Mr. Kefor. Painted in acrylics, this piece is a display of beauty and disturbance. The focal point of the painting is a strange composition in the middle of the canvas. The composition consists of two skulls, a monkey, and two boxes sitting atop and in front of a cement block. An array of flowers is also put on display, giving a contrasting lightness to the skulls. The shapes within the picture are intricately shaded, adding depth and dimension to the otherwise 2D view. The shading also assists in creating a darker, eerier mood. The hue is a mixture of moody, earth colors, with a block of darker valued red to add intensity to the piece. Although the piece presents an unconventional composition, the artist includes realism within the creation of all items in the piece.

A dark atmosphere swirls around the subject, like a rain cloud; ominous and waiting. The hollowed eyes of the skull seem to extend as far back as the depths will go, peering out to the viewer with a knowingness that only the dead can relate. The two skulls sit mysteriously atop a blunt and unforgiving block. They seem almost to smile, making the viewer recoil back at the sight of them. Why are they there? Why amongst the cheery flowers and innocent creature? What do they represent? Death, maybe. Loneliness, Deceit, Betrayal? They seem out of place in a room with convention and life; or do they?

Mr. Kefor painted this piece named "Still Life." He delicately chose to use acrylic paint this piece. In this piece there appears to be skulls and cylinder boxes with flowers and painted canvases in the background. On the boxes of cylinder, there appears to be a chest and a carved monkey on top.

In this piece there are earth tones that are used with a dark value to them. The composition of this piece is terrific. All of the "objects" in this piece seems to have its own place. The contents in this piece are all tied together to have a special meaning. The realism of this piece can make one picture this in real life. This "scene" can be seen in a place such as a dark room. The contents are highlighted in a way that all of the objects stand out in a way that they are balanced. There is no one object that stands out more than another. Everyone has their own intreptation of this piece but this is mine.

The piece shows a dark side of things. The small chest shows that it is where all the secrets are held in. The skulls represents the soul. While the monkey is what holds all the spirits. This piece shows a depressing side of things. It takes place in a dark and errie atmosphere. What do each of these objects represent? What is their purpose for being put in this piece?...

Mr. Kefor created the painting called “Still Life”. He used acrylics to create a more real look. It comes into view that there are skulls on cinder blocks to display gloom. It also appears to have a carved monkey on top of one of the cinder blocks.

In this piece, it illustrates the value in which it becomes darker. The composition consists of cinder blocks, skulls, and a carved monkey. The skulls and the flowers create of sense of lightness in the piece. The darkness creates a gloomier look in the piece. The skulls symbolizes somewhat of death or disturbance and the chest represents some hidden secrets that has not come out.

There is a subtle narrative which can't really depict what really the picture is showing.

Mr. Kefor's Painting "Still Life" was painted using acrylic paints and an expansive imagination. The painting consists of 2 skulls, a wooden box, 2 cement blocks, purple flowers, and 2 paintings of pure color in the background.

The content of this painting is gloomy and sad, kind of lonely. A lot of earth tones are used, although the colors are varied with usage of primary colors both warm and cool. The form of each skull are different, maybe symbolizing something the painter is feeling. The space the huddled components are in looks very secluded, as if they're in a small space. The texture is very rough and bumpy, maybe symbolizing the way the artist feels.

When looking at the painting the inital reaction is that it is abstract, like the components don't really relate. But, when really studying the painting it is obvious that it's about a tortured soul. The cement blocks show stability and the little things actually holding everything together. The skulls represent bad memories and burdens that have to be endured and overcame. The colored paintings in the background stand for a different way to look at things. Lastly, the flowers show hope and that someday, this tortured soul will recover.

Also, there is a monkey carving at the top, symbolizing that things will get better and someone is always watching.

Mr. Kefor's acryllic image entitled "still Life" portrays the stills life of various items arranged in a somewhat linear fashion. The composition of the piece features two cement blocks, an aged animal skull and aged human skull, a brown chest, a monkey sitting on top of all the objects, two shapes in the backround, and flowers.
In the foreground of the image, there is an aged and yellow human skull positioned in front of the other objects on the floor. The skull is slightly turned at an angle and is not directly facing the viewer. The image features many earthtones on the floor and backround, along with other pieces of the image, but primarily in the backround and floor which are shades of green and gray. Gradiation in the value of the colors used in the backround can be seen from left to right as the light green color becomes darker. Along with the gradiation, there is a light shining downwards at an off center point. The light highlights the animal skull along with supplying a shadow beneath the cement blocks and other pieces. In the backround, suble egg-shell colored flowers can be seen, but are not noticable at first glance. The light, shining down on the skulls and larger object in the pieces, obscures the view of the flowers. This lighting makes these pieces the focal point of the image. Behind these flowers, there is an emphasis placed on two shapes that seem to be attached to the wall. The shapes are colored red and orange and stand out against the dull and dark colors of the piece. There is also a monkey placed at the top of the creation, and a brown chest in the middle.

The variety of items arranged in such a strange way portrays a careless yet secure feeling. The items are arranged on cement blocks, which supply support but are not aestheticaly pleasing. The fact that they are merely tossed on top of the blocks and are not neatly arranged, seems thoughtless. The pieces are arranged in a very relaxed fashion along with having very random pieces. There is a parallel between life and death, seen through the skulls and the flowers.

This painting was painted my Mr. Kefor a talented artist who captures the still life of the skulls and cinder blocks. “Still Life” is an acrylic painting.
Most of the colors in this painting have a darker value and there are many earth tones used for the bottom of the table. The background of mixed greens is add a lighter value to the painting. One object which stands out is the bright red square in the background of the focal point which is the cinderblocks, treasure chest, and skulls. These skulls are emphasized by their cream lightened color. Around the monkey skull on top of two stacked cinder blocks there are a few scattered light blue flowers. These flowers have many long streaming dark green leaves which stretch across a small area of the painting. The two canvases in the back off set the whole painting as the white and red are thrown loosely behind the focal point. The focal point also has a shadow to it, which causes the right side of the painting to have a more grey background than green. \
This painting portrays many feelings. Most of the objects here seem to be carelessly thrown and very loosely placed, such as the flowers and background canvases. The cinder blocks are also oddly arranged with skulls randomly thrown around. But one might wonder why each skull is facing the way it is, what is the purpose is the directions.

The composition “Still Life” is an acrylic painted by Mr. Kefor.
The base component of the composition is a cinderblock with three openings and on top are a chest and a one holed cinderblock. The flowers of the painting show life in the dead surroundings, and stretch from the bottom of the composition to the top. There is a reminiscent of a shadow at the top left, which seems like a crack in the wall. The focal points of the composition are the two skulls and the sculpture of the monkey. They attract the eye mostly because by using lighter values and colors they are highlighted. Only dark values of all earth tones are used. The two rectangular canvases in the background create a contrast of colors. All of the objects are cool colors with the exception of the canvases, which are warm colors. All of the objects in the composition are spaced towards the center in juxtaposition. The perspective of the painting is from the front in the center. Since shadows are cast on the right of objects, the light source of the painting is from the left. Natural lighting seems to have been used because of the way the light reflects on the objects. No movement looks as if to be present, nor have the objects seemed to have moved recently.
The composition seems to be emanating darkness or an eerie aura because of the skulls; however, after looking at the painting for a while, the painting seems to be calming. It is relaxing with all inanimate objects and long flowers. The skulls of the composition show that life existed but is no longer present. Still, this composition still leaves the viewer with multiple questions. For example, why are the objects set up in that order. Also, why are they there to begin with. This composition attracts the viewer’s eye because there are not too many things, which increases focus, and it is incredibly thought provoking.

Still life a painting created by Mr. Kefor is apropriatly named still life. he uses acrylic paint and creates a sort of earth tone with the paints.

Mr. kefor used the affect of low contrast and high value colors along with earth tones to create an eary feel to the painting that goes along with the objects and skulls that were used in the painting. There is an emphasis placed on the skulls that are featured in the painting. The painting could possibly symbolize how death is the only type of still life even though death itself is not life.

Mr. Kefor's painting can be used as a base for a narrative based upon death or how if you stay in the same place in life with no opportunities then that would be still life and close to death possibly explainign the skulls that were used in the painting.
