At first when I saw the actual size of the picture I didn't really consider it art. When I went to the first link I saw the zoomed out and close pictures. I love the way the pictures look even though they're made out of such simple things. Overall, I think this is a really interesting take on art and he has a lot of talent.

I really like this form of artwork. I think it is very interesting that he takes social issues and displays them as various forms of art. This is a perfect example of how art tells a story.

I think that it is really cool. He is putting good use of what we throw away. "One man's trash is another man's treasure." It is amazing to see that this is how much waste is being thrown away everyday by the people. It shows us that we should try to lessen this problem and how it is effecting society.

I really like his photography because it is very interesting and different. But even though I like it, I don't consider it "real art". It's a different kind of art than paintings and drawings.

Ms. Mikels,
I love Chris Jordans art in here. I was in the group where i believed jayson polke's art was not art which i still believe but i do believe that this is art. He beautifuly creates this art work which is uniquely but together to represent different things. I diffently love his art work!!(if racheal ray likes it then it then you know its good)

Yes i think this is art because he uses a bunch of different things to make something else. Like small thing bunched together in order to make somthing bigger.

I think Chris Jordan's art is really cool. It is so interesting to look at and a very different way of creating a picture. His art is unique and should most definately be considered an art form. It must take time and hard work to create these pieces of art.

I think this is art. It is also really cool art, it looks like he takes a lot of time to do this. Also I like that some how he creates images out of the objects he uses. Like the picture in the cans. He must use the shades of the objects or something. I think this stuff is really entertaining to look at.

I think Chris Jordan is pretty cool. He's an interesting person and the way he does his art and how he shows what goes to waste in a day, makes people wonder a lot of all the things that we waste a day, that could be used again.

I really like this artwork. I think it is very unique and I like how its so different from what we usually percieve as art. It's interesting how he takes everyday objects that are not neccesarily something we would consider art and he makes them into art. I like how he expresses his opinions on important social issues through his art.

I think Chris Jordan is very interesting. Im interested in the way he deals with many different kinds of art. My favorite piece would have to be the barbie dolls.

I think it is art, and it shows America how much we waste and how we should focus more on recycling things.

I really liked his art. It's different but I like how when you looked at it close it was a million soda cans or a million cell phones. But if you zoomed out it became one big picture.

At first I watched the video and thought, no way is this is art. But then I saw the pictures, and I thought, wow, this is cool. I would call it a form of art because even though it looks like he just threw a bunch of household items together, they are actually placed together in a certain way to create the image. It must of took the guy forever! I think it is so cool! :]

i definately think this is art. it is really cool because every picture is really composed of millions of smaller objects. i think his work makes a statement because he is proving that there are a lot of things wrong with our society; there is so much that he can make artwork out of it
